One of Our very favourite roads.

The A149 offers a fantastic mixture of great driving and amazing places to visit.

Including Hunstanton, Burnham Market and wonderful Wells Next The Sea.

Bed and Breakfasts, pubs and restaurants line the way.

There is no shortage of things to do along this route and we whole heartedly recommend at least a weekend booking to make the most of it.

Be sure to visit:

Hustanton: The only town on the east coast of the UK where you can enjoy excellent fish and chips  from the top of a cliff whilst watching the sunset in the sea!!  The Beautiful orange cliffs of Hunstanton, unlike any others in the country

Wells Next The Sea: Beautiful town and incredible beaches. The town itself is full of lovely shops, pubs and restaurants. From there it is a short trip to the beach, walking or taking a ride on the miniature train! The beach is lined with an incredible sandy pine forest and offers a breathtaking walk to the magnificent Holkham Beach.
